SALVATION
Do you
know for sure--without a doubt if
you
were to die right now
you
would
enter into heaven?
Suppose you were
standing before God at the pearly gates of heaven's
entrance and He asked you
"Why
should I let
you
into My heaven? What have
you
done to deserve to spend eternity with Me?" What
would
you
say?
There's only
one
correct answer. "I believe
Jesus Christ
died to pay the debt for my sins. I believe I'm a
sinner and His perfect precious blood washed away my
sins on the cross of Calvary. I believe He arose
from the dead on the third day and claimed victory
for me over death, sin, and the grave. I accepted
Jesus as my Saviour and Lord."
The
Bible tells us about the Plan of Salvation and how
we can make this answer ours.
For the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
thru Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23
Without Christ as our Saviour
we deserve and will die and spend eternity in hell
forever tormented.
John 14:3 tells us
Christ has gone to eternity with Him there.
Repentance is turning away from our wicked ways and
toward God.
Thru
faith we are saved. By believing on the name of
Jesus Christ we can claim salvation for ourselves.
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no
other name under heaven given to men whereby we must
be saved."
Acts 4:12
If you want Jesus
in your heart and unity with Christ pray and believe
this prayer--
"Lord, I confess
I'm a sinner and I want you to be Lord, Master,
Saviour of my life. I'm sorry for my sins and I want
to live a different life. I believe in my heart that
Jesus died on the cross to forgive me of my sins and
that God the Father raised Jesus Christ from the
dead. By faith, I accept Your grace and offer of
free salvation. Thank you for forgiving me and
making today the day of my salvation. Help me to
lead a life for You and show others the way. Amen."
