Happening 2008
Nov. 12, 2008
Greg Mott
Time has really gone by and many things have happened since
I last posted news about “So Blessed”. We have not been as busy in 2008 as we
were in 2007 but it’s has been a good year in many ways. Even though work has
slowed down this year and I have not devoted as much time to this ministry as I
would have liked to have, I look forward to expanding this ministry in the
coming year even as we face a continuing economic slow down. I know in my mind
that even though I make mistakes that my being home due to a lack of work in
reality it is in Gods plan. He’s preparing me for the work He has planed, just
as He has provided in this trying time. So I will continue to trust in Christ
to see us through and ask for your continued prayers. With that said I must
also tell about the most wonderful thing that happened at the nursing home this
month as the service came to a close an 87 year old man wheels up to the front
of the room to make a profession of faith (He wants Christ as his savior) and
ask to be baptized. This when I was feeling at my lowest think to my self what
good am I doing here need I say any more God knows right when you need a lift. I
also thank you for your prayers the past months as I had vocal problems God
answered the prayers and I have almost completely recovered now. 2009 is sure
to be a year full of surprises, I ask that you please stay in touch and keep our
government in your prayers as well as our communities and local churches. There
will be many families in need in the coming months.
